KASHMIR X CONTACT °2022

This pregnancy is a combination of Kashmir van Schuttershof and Contact van de Heffinck.

Sire Kashmir van Schuttershof is a son of the great Nabab de Reve and Kashmir also competed with Nabab’s rider, Philippe Lejeune. Kashmir was a regular in Nations Cups on the Belgian team but his legacy was made by his offspring. Ever since 1998 Kashmir has had offspring compete on the top level of showjumping and he has produced some of the most iconic horses. 

H&M All In was crowned European Champion in Gothenburg, where he finished 2nd with the Swedish team and he won individual silver at the Olympics in Rio, where Reveur de Heurtebise won team gold. Bayard van de Villa Theresia won team bronze at the London 2012 Olympics. In Tryon at the World Equestrian Games H&M Indiana won team silver and Gazelle won 2 stages of the Rolex Grand Slam.

The dam of this pregnancy is Chouchou Picobello Z, a daughter of Contact van de Heffinck and Orlando van de Heffinck. This makes her the full sister of Romeo 88. Romeo is the Olympic contender who will compete in Tokyo with Harry Charles on Team GB and started his top level career with Jessica Springsteen. However it was with Darragh Kenny that Romeo scored massive results right up to 1.65m level, coming 2nd in the Rolex Top 10 Final and 2 in the GCL Super Cup in Prague. 

The story is even more impressive as the dam is a sister of Eric Lamaze’s Check Picobello Z, winner of the 4* Grand Prix in Wellington and 2nd in the 5* Grand Prix of Spruce Meadows. 

The granddam is Only Picobello Z who was a finalist at the World Breeding Jumping Championships in Lanaken. She is a daughter of Pleasure by Picobello, the Redefin Grand Prix winner who competed at 1.60m level with 4 different riders, including Peter Wylde and Eric van der Vleuten.
